Failing to plan is planning to fail.
- Allen Laiken
A goal without a plan is just a wish.
- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Every hour of planning saves 10 hours of rework.

The following website is a collation of useful tools to help you navigate life more effectively. Our tools work for individuals, families, small business, bigger business and NFPs. They are designed to stimulate thought, discussion and action.
We provide our tools on an honesty basis. Please use them and then donate an amount to help us cover costs.
The more complex tools usually require coaching input. We like to monitor their distribution and charge nominally for our time ... $25/10 minutes.
All links will open in "view" mode best suited to a 1920x1080p monitor. You are welcome to copy, edit and adapt them using a Google account. Please note, once they're in your hands, it's your responsibility to double check totals and subtotals for errors before you make strategic or tactical decisions. We accept no liability for your mistakes or sub-optimal judgement.
Ikagai is perhaps our least "pragmatic" planner.
Ikigai is the intersection of four important elements:
Your mission - what the world needs
Your passion - what you love doing
Your profession - what you're good at
Your vocation - what you can be paid for
Use the green, the steel-blue or the parchment planner.

What standards apply and how do we achieve them?
When? - start, stop, milestones, sequence and dependencies
How much? Totals, cash impact by day/week/month
Resources - needs, wants, timing, handling and security
Who? - selection, skills, safety, training, rewards & bonuses
But but but - communicate clearly before, during and after
Risks - human, environmental, commercial, time, operations
KISS - simple, clear, accurate and honest reports
What is:
the opportunity / market need?
the unique value proposition?
the unique sales proposition?
the realistic schedule?
the marketing plan?
the manpower plan?
the risks and mitigation steps?
the budget, cash burn rate and ROI?
the sustainable competitive advantage?
